Overview
As a consultant, I worked with companies at all stages on all kinds of projects. Some needed a clear action, others had a problem or idea and just needed direction. I treated each client individually, always grounded in a solid discovery process.
My KPIs were tied directly to the quality of the solutions I delivered.
My KPI's:
71
From clients
Industry standard is 20 – 40.
74
From teams
$17M
Value of landed projects
My goal wasn’t to sell a project — it was to build the best solution possible. My main KPIs were NPS scores from both the client and the delivery team, showing that I understood the client’s needs & gave the team a solution they could actually deliver.
Consulting Process
Preparations & Discovery Call
I always started with a Discovery Call, letting clients tell their story, problems, or vision. Then I conducted interviews, asked the right questions, and outlined dependencies and limitations.
Each meeting was preceded by research about the company and joined by a sales representative.
By the end of the call, we had a clear overview of client needs and were ready to craft the solution.
Defining the Problem
With gathered notes and materials, I defined the problem and assembled a team of experts (Frontend, Backend, Security, Research) to begin shaping the solution.
Requirements & Scope
As Senior Discovery Consultant, I prepared requirements and scope that the expert team would base their approach on — technology, estimations, and team structure. I was also responsible for the Product Design side.
Workshops
In many cases, discovery calls weren’t enough, so we ran dedicated Discovery Workshops with client teams. Those workshops were custom for each project.
My role was to detect when they were needed and co-facilitate them with Project Managers.
Solution & Offer
After workshops, we were ready to craft the solution and prepare the offer.
Each expert worked on their area, and I was responsible for putting the final product together.
Deliverables included:
Problem description
Solution overview
Detailed Product Design approach with estimations
Team proposition
Roadmap
Delivery plan
Presenting the Offer
Once the solution was ready, I met with the client again to present the offer: solution overview, design approach, roadmap, and delivery plan.
Project & Early Ownership
After the client agreed to start, the team was assembled based on my recommendations. I kicked off the project with both teams and stayed for at least two weeks to ensure a smooth start, resolve frictions, and build the project knowledge base.
Collecting Feedback & Ratings
After 14–30 days, I wrapped up the project by collecting NPS ratings from both client and team.
Client NPS showed how well I understood their problem & vision
Team NPS reflected solution quality and feasibility
"Adam led client discovery workshops, crafted strategic product roadmaps, and built cross-functional teams to deliver the products. From day one, he brought vision, direction, and momentum to the projects, ensuring that clients’ business requirements were fully
understood & prioritized."

Żabka
I’ve had the pleasure of working for one of the greatest Polish brands — Żabka.
Żabka had been a client of Netguru for quite some time and approached us with a challenge related to self-checkout in its retail stores.
A 3rd-party vendor was responsible for delivering a crucial piece of equipment for the self-checkout points, based on Żabka’s brand.

My Role
I was responsible for the full discovery process, focusing on detecting possible friction points in cooperation with the 3rd party.
I created an approach assuming we’d build a design system based on Żabka’s other digital products, giving the 3rd party a reliable UI foundation.
What I did:
Discovery workshops with Żabka and 3rd-party representatives
Gathered all requirements and limitations
Crafted the solution
Composed the team
Created the roadmap
Successfully presented the solution & landed the project
Kicked off the project with 3rd party and our team
Stayed & oversaw the project for 3 weeks

Homebase
Discovery for the biggest US-based payroll platform was one of the most challenging projects during my time at Netguru.

Homebase approached us with a problem around their design system. With many platforms — mobile, desktop, shop tablets — they struggled to maintain UI and usability consistency. They asked us to figure out the approach to create a global design system.
My Role
I led the full discovery process focused on Homebase platforms and how their design and frontend teams worked. I collaborated with a team of internal experts.
What I did:
Discovery calls with Homebase teams
Assembled a team of experts
Prepared the approach & processes

Successfully presented the solution & landed the project
Kicked off the project with both teams

Sportano.pl
In 2022, when A.I. was making its way into businesses, we detected an opportunity for one of the fastest-growing Polish retail brands — Sportano.

At the time, many repetitive tasks were done manually. We stepped in with an idea to automate adding and maintaining the product library, which now exceeds 900,000 items.
My Role
I led the discovery process focused on learning Sportano’s internal processes. Together with the Innovation Specialist, we crafted a solution to save hours each week on repetitive tasks like adding product descriptions or editing photos.
What I did:
Discovery calls with Sportano team
Learned & Studied internal processes
Gathered all requirements
Crafted an A.I. mini-app with the Innovation Architect
